AS ADVICE
It is important to view knowledge as a semantic tree - make sure you understand the fundamental principles, i.e., the trunk and big branches, before you get into the leaves/details or there is nothing for them to hang on to.
1. Rule: Make sure you're building a tree of knowledge.
-Not everything is of equal importance.
-It is the difference between the periphery VS. the central.
-Understand what is at the core.
- Start first with the central, then with the periphery
Outward Facing In Method
-Periphery -No complete understanding
-Facts
-Start with materials that make up the trunk.
2.Rule: You can't remember what you can't connect
-Build the trunk first, then work tirelessly on making connections.
Exponential Growth
-Building the foundation for exponential growth.
"If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got." -Henry Ford.
