Can Machines Think?

How can we create an intelligent computer and what will the future look like with intelligent machines?

Example: When you watch a YouTube video, the YouTube algorithm shows you a recommended video list based on your past searches. The algorithm is so intelligent in recognizing patterns and narrows them down for you.

Artificial Intelligence will be one of the biggest scientific breakthroughs in the 21st century.

It will give us the power to probe the universe and our humanity with a different approach.

-AI has the potential of forever changing our humanity.

-The core of artificial intelligence is machine learning.

Why? To make machines learn based on it's knowledge and make decisions.

-It can be represented in two ways:

  • With the use of algorithms to find meaning in random and unordered data.
  • To use learning algorithms to find interactions between that knowledge. To improve that learning process.

Machine Learning: To improve the machines performance on certain tasks. Like translation, market distribution and more.

Databases fuel machine learning to operate.

Thee most important part of this whole entire process is actually the learning algorithm.
This is what powers computers to learn and be intelligent.
Focus on two types of learning algorithms:First Part: Image Processing= Visual Processing and it happens from our retina when it relays through our brain's primary visual cortex in the back of our brain.Second Part: Neural Networks= Virtual information is separated and processed in three different processing systems. First System: Process information about color, Second System: Is about shape, Third System: Movement location and organization.
We have to understand that all we see on a computer screen are made of pixels, tiny things that represent color.
When the user gives the computer some input it will be able to process an import and compare that with what is in memory and then give you some output whether the image match with the template or not.

Neural Networks: The brain is made of gazillions of neurons.

Technology plays a huge role in the future.

What will the future look like with A.I?

For example:

  • Autonomously constructing a space station on Mars.
  • In hospitals across the globe, scientists are using A.I to find mutations in human DNA databases and also cures for diseases and these are some of the technological advancements.

A.I will not replace biological intelligence yet will enhance our lives, it would enhance our future.
